A few hours mountain climbing turns a rogue and a saint into two roughly equal creatures. Weariness is the shortest path to equality and fraternity—and liberty is finally added by sleep. —Nietzsche

Dikwiel FatBike
Special thanks to my Kiwi friend Hurben Baynes for keeping the flag flying on Global Fat Bike Day.
So these babies are like having a raft in white water instead of a kayak, right? You just bounce over the big rocks?
ReplyDelete@babble Never quite sure if one has to pedal or paddle. I guess it depends how sloppy the mud is.
ReplyDelete...and Hurben, tell the All Blacks to get bikes...going down to England like that can't sit well on the mind ...:)
ReplyDeleteSunday papers were full of doom & gloom following the match, they take it far too seriously down here.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the pictures, bike looks a bit strange with the DC stickers stripped off but the Dikwiel Kommando one definitely adds a touch of class.
@babble on, I'd imagine that it's like using one of those inflatable kayaks as the Surly is extremely comfortable & handles surprisingly well.
