Papsak in Iceland. Really.

You just have to see this, again thanks to Guitar Ted for the lead.

At least I know I have an ally in the papsak crew. The man deserves honourary Dikwiel Kommando membership!

  1. As you know, I don't follow off road cycling much. I am surprised; we have the Surley bike company here in Minnesota which has similar bikes, mostly for deep snow travel. I was completely unaware of the phenomenon showing up elsewhere. I guess I live in an MTB blackout.

  2. I'm fascinated by the Fat Bikes and what one can do with them. A "papsak" is the local name for the 2litre or 5 litre bag of wine which in polite society is sold inside a box, aka "insert neighbourhood name here" briefcase ". Where I live it's known as a papsak (literally soft, flat, lazy bag or sack") which is what the toxic trash in it turns you into if consumed. However, out of this darkness comes the empty bag, well rinsed, which makes an excellent water carrier for LRDT's (Long Range Desert Trips) ;)
